Geauga Lake opened in 1887 in Aurora, Ohio. It left a hole in the hearts of many fans from Ohio and beyond when it permanently closed in 2007. The amusement park contained many beloved rides such as the wooden Big Dipper roller coaster, The Raging Wolf Bobs, The Corkscrew, Cyclone, Double Loop, The Wave, Grizzly Run, Mr. Hyde's Nasty Fall, Skyscraper ride, Texas Twister, The Villain and more. Although there are many other parks in the area like Cedar Point, Sea World, King's Island, and Conneaut Lake Park and although the name has changed to Six Flags and Wild Water Kingdom throughout the years, it remains Geauga Lake in our fondest memories. We love vintage memorabilia and classic nostalgia!
