The Wave was a classic attraction at Geauga Lake - a now permanently closed amusement park in Aurora, Ohio. The opening date of the pool was in 1984 and was a main attraction of the water park until its closing in 1999. It was a giant wave pool that sent out large timed waves across the water for swimmers to enjoy. After years at Geauga Lake, Six Flags, and Wild Water Kingdom The Wave was shut down. How sad!
